In order to find out what power
reading glasses you need, follow these simple directions:

in order to utilize it properly.) |
WITHOUT your glasses on,
hold the chart below 14-16 inches from your eye, approximately
the distance from you elbows to your finger tips. Keep
your eyes level to the chart. Try not to squint or move
when checking for strength. Start at the bottom and read
each line across and up to the next, until you reach the first
line that is difficult to read. Note the + number. This is the power reading
glasses you will need.
Eye doctors routinely recommend over-the-counter reading glasses to patients
who need help reading fine print. However, if each of your eyes require
different strengths or any unusual prescription, reading glasses may not be
suitable for you.
